The monograph examines issues of liturgical and eucharistic theology through the prism of the connection between Jewish cult practice and early Christian worship. The author makes analogies between the synagogue liturgical practice and the liturgical circle of the Christian church. The parallels between the Passover and the Last Supper are presented etc. The study describes Jewish religious practices and looks for their influence in the early Church's life and on the formation of Christian worship. At the same time, the author emphasizes the Christocentric nature of church worship, which distinguishes it from Jewish worship.
