   The monograph explores the lead seals from Dobruja (both Bulgariam and Romanian part). Approximately 300 seals are analyzed, cataloged in three categories: official imperial, imperial commercial and private commercial seals. Most of the material is dated between the 4th and 6th c. AD. The author analyzes the seals in different ways: chronological and geographical distribution, typology, iconography. The catalog is well illustrated with a photograph and a drawing for each seal. The book provides an imporant information about the economic exchange networks during the Late Antiquity, which private commercial seals allow to reconstruct.
