In his monograph, the author searches for the manifestation of various archetypal images and symbols in the culture, art and myths of ancient Thrace. In the respective chapters are analysed:
▪️ the important archetype of the "Mother";
▪️ the images embodying the active, fighting, surviving side of the male principle;
▪️ the archetypal image of the helper, the wise old man, the hermit, embodied in the story of the "retired hero";
▪️ the mythologeme "sacred marriage" as an archetypal allegory of the relationship between the masculine and the feminine;
▪️ monuments with a megalithic character, analysed based on the perception and impact of sacred spaces.
