   The monograph presents the results of the archaeological excavations of the Western Gate of Serdica in 2011-2016 and the subsequent establishment of the archaeological park. The first part of the study adds new insights and discussion to what is known so far about Serdica in the Roman and Late Antique periods. The second part focuses on the management of archaeological monuments in the city and seeks to locate the archaeological park in the context of Sofia's ancient heritage.
