"Literature is not much different from thinking. However it makes you think by superimposing and alternating different forms of showing-presenting.  In numerous cases this is better than the shorter ordinary, scientific and philosophical way of expression. This is also the reason for my respect for literature; nevertheless I also have respect for the ordinary everyday speech. As a result of my respect for both of these forms of expression, is the particular moderate speech used in this book, which I called diatribe speech. I moderately analyzed the main subject of the narrative by limiting myself to its two manifestations – as a plot story and as a narrative. Because of the so called diatribe speech, I did not pay attention to the other forms of the narrative that one may come across. The diatribe speech also kept reminding me that a narration is as much a literary subject as it is a nonliterary subject. The everyday way of speaking does not differentiate words, but rather compares, likens and collects synonymous titles, without specifying their meaning."
