The collection contains studies that cover Prehistory and Antiquity, Middle Ages, the Ottoman Age, Modern Times and the present. The themes are orientated towards figures from the world culture and art: John Koukouzeles, Michel de Montaigne, Diego Velazquez, Claude Monet, Wassily Kandinsky, towards famous representatives of fine arts such as Goshka Fatzov and Nicola Mihailov. Studied are significant monuments of architecture and painting — the wonder-working icon ‘Virgin Mary Glikofilusa’, Bachkovo monastery, Archangels’ Council Chapel, Rila monastery, St. Nicola’s Church in Topolnitza Village, Dupnitza Region.
